This is a poster I made for Illest of Illustration, an annual student-run gallery show at Ringling College of Art and Design. This year's theme was "The Final Frontier," so I used this as an opportunity to paint a skull in a space suit, because skulls in space suits are cool. Recently I've been experimenting with editing the code of images to glitch them. I added some glitched images overtop my painting here, and was really happy with the result.
Below is the original black and white acrylic painting. I painted it mostly with palette knives and black acrylic.
