Entertainment Tonight Rebrand

  • Champagne For Everyone
Always plugged in and relevant to the times, ET takes on the ever-changing nature of pop-culture through insightful and fun conversation. Using the iconic logo mark as a base, multiple textures and materials convey how ET aggregates & reflects pop-culture. Conversational language with bold typography invites the audience to participate in the stories that are happening now. A Champagne color palette combined with electric accents nod to premium with a contemporary twist.

During my internship as a Motion Designer at Troika over the summer of 2014, I had the privilege of working on Entertainment Tonights new rebrand. From concept to delivery I worked with an inspiring team of designers and animators focusing first on concept and design, and then exploratory animation tests for style and feel. Together with the help of a mentoring motion designer, we animated the rebrand package comprising of show opens, segment opens, logo animations, text, lower third and mortise templates, transitions, backgrounds, textures, and set graphics.
