This project was done during my Evidence Based Design class. The goal of the class was to research a topic that we felt was important and then apply all of the things we learned into a design scenario.
For my project, I focused on kids with learning disabilities such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia. Each of these learning differences focuses on struggles in different areas like reading, writing, and math. The project I designed was for kids with those differences that clearly need to learn a different way than the average classroom allows. The classrooms I designed revolve around an interactive surface which keeps the kids active and engaged in learning.
