For Ringling's 3D Design class we were to design a 3D character out of paper that represented ourselves. I took a more symbolic route than many of my class mates. I retained key features such as my heely's and glasses that are key in separating myself from the rest of the world however; I chose to abstract the depiction of the character to express my obsession with Euclidean and Fractal Geometry. The color palette was taken from my website as a way of maintaining continuity in my personal brand.
I took a simpler rout with this draft in case my symbolic version received a negative response. He is sporting my signature attire: a plain grey sleeveless shirt, blue jeans and heelys.
After our projects were finished we were asked to create a symbol mapped version onto a 3D form in Illustrator.
